KLASSic Klocks - Please read full description!
KLASSic Klocks evolved from a desire to combine interests in wood working and fly fishing. They have a uniquely styled face (copyrighted in 1997) consisting of hand tied flies at the 3,6,9, and 12 o’clock positions. Gold beads mark the in-between hours. KLASSic Klocks donated to TU Chapters and IFF member clubs may have laser cut letters in place of the gold beads (for ex., NCTU for the National Capital Chapter of TU or PVFF for Potomac Valley Fly Fishers – an IFF club). A gold rimmed glass crystal protects the flies and clock mechanism.
The Klocks are offered in two sizes; 9”x12” (eight inch face), 7”x9” (six inch face). Two types of artwork are available; (1) signed (large Klock only) color prints by Joe Tomelleri, recognized by many ichthyologists as the finest scientific illustrator of fishes in the world, (2) classic carvings of trout and bass. The hand-tied flies are four of those used when angling for that species of fish. At your request other flies can be substituted.
Signed prints of the following fish are currently available: Rainbow Trout, Brook Trout, Brown Trout, Sockeye (Red) Salmon, Largemouth Bass American Shad and Striped Bass.
You can choose from an even larger selection of prints for the smaller Klocks: McCloud Rainbow Trout, VonBehr Brown Trout, Brook Trout, Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout and many others.
The quartz clock movement has a ten-year warranty. It is powered by a single AA battery which is provided.
If you have fond memories of a particular fish that “didn’t get away” and wish to experience that remembrance anew a KLASSic Klock is your answer. The Klocks make great gifts for the sportsman and hard to please person on your list. I’ll be happy to discuss your request and personally design a Klock to meet your needs.
